Climate = is the consistent long term behavior of weather over a lengthy period of time (>30-50 years), including its variability . Climate is what you expect; weather is what you get . Climate tells you what clothes to buy, but weather tells you what clothes to wear . Distinctive patterns of mean monthly temperatures related to latitude/location. Graph on which two or more climatic variables are plotted for each month of the year e. g. mean monthly temperature/ mean monthly precipitation. Latitudinal variation in insolation (tilt, rotation + revolution, mean daily insolation) #2 proximity to water coastal or continental location.
