Form a group in seminar, pick an event from the news. Write critical commentary on how diversity is depicted in photos. Build on critical language theories, concepts in course to analyze images. Use readings and theories to ground your analysis. Return to first activty (start where you are) Write reflection exploring how your understandings and views have changed. To reach full potential they need to feel safe. Childhood getting chased threatened being beat up. Nobody wanted to touch black girl or wanted her to touch them.
