Document Summary

Two arguments in favour of the existence of god: I feel that god is present in my life and he exists. 1: most people throughout history believed in god and therefore, he exists. Two arguments against the existence of god: you cannot prove god through science, evil exists in the world (through war, famine etc. ) A loving god would not allow that to happen, therefore he does not exist. The first argument against god. the process of science is not to falsify, but to prove. Science cannot approach the question of god"s existence. Most people throughout history believed that the earth was flat, therefore it was. Just because most people believed in something, does not mean it is true. Feeling cannot be used to prove that something exists. Emotion cannot be the basis of an explanation. You can only explain something through logic and reasoning. We can have opinions but know how to backup your opinion with evidence/ knowledge.
