Seminar 5 discussion points: after reading the article about government agency privacy breaches, it has come to my attention that a lot of our personal information can be leaked quite easily. The government has all the rights to use our information for various reasons however, there should be a very strict process implemented to ensure that none of our information could be leaked out to hackers or the public. I am worried that there are hackers and even crooked employees that could be using our information for their personal benefit. Agency), they have all of our personal financial information so if an employee wanted to steal some money, they could use our details such as our sin number and steal a lot of money. This could not only affect an individual but a society as a whole; if information is retrieved from a number of emails, criminals would be able to use all of our information towards identity theft.
