Anyways, for those who have not seen the movie, it is about a teenager who has been homeschooled her whole life, nally starting at a public school. She gets involved with a mean group of girls and becomes involved in a lot of social aggression such as, giving dirty looks, gossip, exclusion, etc. This type of aggression is actually the most popular type of aggression used in television shows and lms for children and youth, and it is the most popular type of aggression that is seen amongst children today. In order to eliminate this kind of aggression, we rst need to attempt to nd a cause of it, which is what many researchers are attempting to do. Today we will be analyzing an article entitled mean on the screen: social aggression in programs popular with children written by nicole. The article is laid out like a typical research paper, with an abstract, intro, methods, results, and discussion.
