In this time witch craft was also believed, however this could have just been people with disorders. Used to terminate these people due to their understanding at the time where as now we actually treat it with medicine. It"s just an explanation for behaviour we are not comfortable with. She went to a school for black kids, a non-white school. Problem for this is that it is far away from her house and an all white school was simply around the corner from her house.
