Their attention isn"t lowered, they pay attention to everything. Not a learning disability per se but it co-occurs with learning disabilities. A type of behavioural disability-probably neurological and a chemical based issue. Children with adhd often have ld (40-50%) Age-inappropriate degrees of inattention and impulsivity, with and without hyperactivity. Attention disorder (inattentive type) they attend to everything. They cannot focus on one thing: difficulty sustaining attention, affects school work, play, remembering. At least 6 of the following symptoms of inattention must have persisted for at least. 6 months to an extent that is maladaptive and inconsistent with developmental level. Fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities. Does not seem to listen to what is being said.
