Document Summary

Week 3- how do drama and dance fit in the australi. Dramatic play and drama in the early years (by julie dunn and. Madonna stinson, in susan wright"s children, meaning-making and the arts. Part 1: the australian curriculum- the arts (learning in and through the arts) --a big challenge for the writers of the australian curriculum in the arts was how to marry the idea of creativity with the idea of discipline in the arts. It means that when a student is engaged in the arts, they can be learning the skills and practices of certain discipline traditions. And be creative in using those skills to express an idea or concept in their own particular way. --this was a challenge in writing the curriculum, because people have many different ways of perceiving and valuing the arts (as we discovered last week).
