Week 3- the aims and purpose of education 2 (alternative views) --before we go any further, let"s take a moment to remind ourselves why it matters to think about this (in relation to our becoming ethical teachers): We can reasonably be held responsible for our actions when we "could have chosen to do otherwise. " --we as educators have these obligations; not in virtue of being educators, but simply because we are people (who can choose to act ethically). --but again, these judgements apply to all people.
