The aim of any ruler should be directed so that he secures the welfare of those whose gov he undertakes. The welafre and safety of a multitude formed into a society are that its unity, which is called peace may be preserced. Ephesians 4:3 be careful to protect the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace". Tyranny is more harmful than oligarchy and oligarchy more harmful than democracy. A gov becomes unjust be rejecting the common good of the multitude it seeks the eprsonal advantage of the ruler. The more the ruler departs from the common good the more unjust it becomes. Friendship: this units good men and preserve and promotes virtue. The gov of tyrants is sustained by fear- artistotle in his politics shows that tyrants have a short duration- fear breeds desperation and revolt. Kings should look to god for a reward. Rewards of a king aere glory and honour.
