• Tourism (Area 1)
~ Cultural tourism is a form of tourism and not a form of cultural management. Tourism
is a noun and culture is an adjective. People need to travel for tourist reasons to be
classed as tourism
• Cultural Assets (Area 2)
~ Tangible (e.g. landmarks/buildings/people) and intangible (atmosphere, spirituality)
• Consumption of experiences and products (Area 3)
~ cultural elements need to be transformed into products
• The tourist (Area 4)
~ the non-local residents. Try to design them with the visitor in mind
