Psychology can reveal things about our society that we didn"t know. Factors affecting obedience of authority: perceived authority of the person giving the orders, contradicting authority, proximity of the victim, level of direct responsibility for the outcome\ Blind obedience more likely to occur when people shift responsibility for their actions on to someone else or something else.
