Tafe & secondary qualifications including institution name, year began & completed, major / minor, if you have received good results to date: employment history. Reverse chronological order, include dates & duration, document responsibilities and achievements, make use of action words (coordinate, analyse), separate relevant employment and voluntary work using sub- headings, lists rather than paragraphs (dot points). Name, job title, organisation, phone number, email: knowledge. What not to include: date of birth / age, place of birth, nationality, ethnic origin, marital status, number of children, religion, political persuasion, health, height / weight, photo. Layout: block format, name & address, date, employer or agency"s name and address, dear sir / madam , reference line, paragraphs, yours sincerely / yours faithfully.
