What is wrong: lesion affecting the fusiform gyrus (area it, tumour affecting that region, lost ability to detect faces, also caused a visual field defect, losing of his visual field (localized inferior part of optic radiation) Output targets of ganglion cells (axons projected towards : many brain regions, majority target the lateral geniculate nucleus (thalamus) The visual pathway (visual cortex to the eye)
