Consultation: mondays 12-1pm, thursday 1-2pm, fridays 1-2pm, 6 first walk room 622. Criminal procedure: lectures run from weeks 1-6; tutorials run weeks 2-7. Civil procedure: week 7 lecture, tutorials run weeks 8-12 (12 is mock hearing week), week. 8 online quizzes to ensure that you are keeping up with relevant content and readings, 4 criminal & 4 civil (worst mark is removed for both and best 3 count . 15% each 30% overall) 7pm friday to 7pm saturday. Week 7 quiz is friday/saturday of second week of break. 2 written assessments civil and criminal. Substantive criminal law is what makes you guilty or not of an offence, criminal procedure is everything else in relation to criminal law. Everything from the commission of the crime, to involvement of the police, court processes, bail, sentencing etc. Property, equity, remedies, competition and consumer law, tax law, administrative law, private international law, family law, employment law, etc)
