What is event operations management?: concerned with all aspects of managing an event from its

conception to its completion and subsequent evaluation, 4 main aspects:

1. Analysis – internal and external environment

2. Detailed Planning – activities undertaken prior to event implication

3. Implication and Delivery - involves allocation of resources and execution of detailed operational

planning

4. Performance and Evaluation - involves monitoring and review, both during and post event
