What do IQ test measure
- Cognitive ability, not intelligence
- Because they are narrow
- They are typically specific
- Mainly:
oVerbal (crystallised intelligence-learnt about it)
o non-verbal/visuospatial (fluid intelligence)
oworking memory
oprocessing speed (time taken, easier to do simple task, cognitive efficiency)
