The nursing process is a systematic process for identifying problems through accurate patient assessments, planning appropriate care, implementing and evaluating care. At each stage of the nursing process, nurses use critical thinking skills to ensure that appropriate decisions made about care: An accurate nursing assessment enables the nurses to identify risks to the patients. Identification and management risk is embedding to the nursing process.
