The two type of tree fruits consisted of goldenrain and balloon vine. The seeds of goldenrain are flater and closer to the surface while the seeds of the balloon vine were plumper and rounder. These differences led to different beak sizes and scientists predicted that birds that fed on goldenrain would have shorter beaks. Resistant strains of bacteria and viruses can form very quickly. Example: s. aureus were resistant to penicillin, a type of antibiotic, and the s. Aureus contained an enzyme that could destroy the penicillin. However, two years later s. aureus became resistant to that as well.
