Document Summary

Argument: undermine the belief that aborion is ok (1: aborion is like killing an innocent adult human being. Argument reasoning: life is present from the moment of concepion, therefore, aborion is morally akin to murder, pro-choice principles regarding killing are too narrow. Counterargument reasoning: fetuses are not persons, raional agents, or social beings, therefore, aborion is not a wrongful killing, ani-aborion principles regarding killing are too broad (2) Reasons for ambiguity is the fact that terms like human being" or person" cannot be accurately deined. This logic is the same logic of why aborion is wrong. Aborion could only be jusiied by the most compelling reasons (6: loss of one"s life, if the loss consequent on failing to abort would be at least as great. More reasons why killing is wrong: disconinuaion account: you would disconinue the valuable experience of life for the vicim. Counter: fetuses don"t have a strong desire to live.
