Lots of people got sick in the spring illnesses did not stop until late autumn. Text goes on to talk about the various illnesses in the summer and autumn, including dysentery, diarrhea, and fever. Such fevers attacked lots of people at once. Tertian (case of malaria causing fever every second day) fevers more numerous than ardent (fierce) fevers: had 4 periods in rapid succession caused crisis in 7. Lots of people died from these fevers: mostly infants, kids up till 8-10 years old, and pre-pubescent people were killed, most favorable symptom (if one was afflicted with a disease) was when strangury would cause abscesses to form. Strangury blockage of bladder causing pain and intense desire to urinate. Abscesses swollen area where pus would accumulate. Strangury attacked many people sufferers soon got better no one died from strangury. Use concoctions and careful observations when treating a patient with abscesses.
