Early childhood professions are always changing because of the expanding eld of early childhood education and new jobs being created. Child development-stages of physical, social, mental, and linguistic growth that occur from birth through age eight: multiple in uences determine a child"s life outcome, culture-way of life, including values, beliefs, religion, language, clothing, food, and various practices. Inclusive classroom-regular classroom where children with disabilities are included. Developmentally appropriate practice(dap)- practice based on how children grow and develop and on individual and cultural differences. Important to know how to teach children of all cultures and to be sensitive in responding to children"s culture and ethnic backgrounds and needs. Create a collaborative relationships with your students families and community: observing,documenting, and assessing to support children and families.
