A challenging organization to think about culturally. Task as an ethnographer of the ipcc is to trace cultural practices that lead to distillation of nature as climate change. Errors found-even raised concern of japanese government. Mistake amplified to question legitimacy of ipcc. Example 2: ice sheets in the fourth assessment report. Assessors were concerned with projecting rapid disintegration of ice sheets. Each of the review comments has to be responded to by the authors.
