Mrs. mason should isolate anna to prevent other children"s exposure. She should provide her with some kind of activity to do until her mother arrives. If she uses any materials, they should be sanitized afterwards to make sure that conjunctivitis does not spread to the other children. Although to some this may seem harsh, mrs. mason should not let other children get conjunctivitis. If anna"s mother takes her to the doctor and they confirm that it is conjunctivitis. Mrs. mason should talk to her about keeping anna home until she is no longer contagious.
