Stis include: chlamydia, gonorrhea, genital herpes, syphilis, hiv/aids, Nongonococcal urethritis, genital warts, viral hepatitis, bacterial vaginosis, candidiasis (yeast infection), trichomoniasis, pubic lice (crabs) and scabies. Most people who have chlamydia don"t know it since the disease often has no symptoms. Chlamydia is the most commonly reported std in the united states. Sexually active females 25 years old and younger need testing every year. Easy to cure, chlamydia can impact a woman"s ability to have children if left untreated. Infection can spread from one body site to another via fingers. Women: pelvic inflammatory disease, disrupted menstruation, pelvic pain ,raised temperature, nausea, vomiting, headache, infertility and ectopic pregnancy. Men: urethra infection discharge and burning during urination, swelling at bottom of affected testis and inflammation of scrotum. Doxycycline for 7 days or one dose of azithromycin.
