The time Hugo worked was around the time of World War I, in which he insisted that the
dada movement was also intended to challenge the state of the world
Hugo’s new media was a sound poem, which basically combines literary and musical

Russolo in the 19th century used machines to create noise.
Instead of working with music Russolo worked with noises and believed that the
strongest noises interrupted the silence of life
Russolo believed that this musical evolution is paralleled by the multiplication of
machines, which collaborate with man on every front. He believed that the machine
during his time has created such a variety and rivalry of noises that pure sound in its
exiguity and monotony, no longer arouses any feeling.

The futurists were at its most influential and active between 1909 and 1914 and were
