Directions: each student is required to do one class presentation on a reading and arguments, (2) clarify any potential confusions or misinterpretations, etc. , and assignment. Presentations should (1) briefly summarize the author"s main claims (3) offer well-reasoned, critical commentary on the author"s main claims and arguments and/or raise questions to facilitate class discussion regarding the relevant issues. Additional research on the specific ideas covered in the reading assignment is not required, but is encouraged. Doing so may help you develop some critical insights on the material. Formatting: presentations should be a minimum of two, double-spaced, typed pages in length. Papers with irregular formatting (increased margins, font sizes, etc. ) that artificially lengthen the paper to meet minimum requirements will not receive credit.
