It satis es four hours of the general education analytical reasoning requirement. This course is a general education course in the analytical reasoning area because it includes the following area learning objective: Lsu graduates will employ scienti c and mathematical models in the resolution of laboratory and real-world problems. Topics to be covered include techniques of integration, in nite series, parametric curves and polar coordinates, vectors, and the calculus of vector-valued functions of a real variable.
