This course is a four (4) hour second calculus course designed for math, science and engineering majors and certain other technical majors. It satis es four hours of the general education analytical reasoning requirement. This course is a general education course in the analytical reasoning area because it includes the following area learning objective: Lsu graduates will employ scienti c and mathematical models in the resolution of laboratory and real-world problems. Topics to be covered include techniques of integration, in nite series, parametric curves and polar coordinates, vectors, and the calculus of vector-valued functions of a real variable.
