This is a three credit hour course and as such students are expected to have six hours of coursework outside of class per week for a minimum time commitment of nine hours per week. This course may be used to meet three credit hours toward the general education requirement for analytical reasoning. See the lsu general catalog for more information. Education course in the analytical reasoning area because it includes the following area learning objective: lsu graduates will employ scientific and mathematical models in the resolution of laboratory and real-world problems. Requirements: you will need an access code for mymathlab (mml) and a scientific calculator. It is important that you have your own calculator and that you know how to use your calculator.
