They had a performance issue for their computers. Data marts were too many and all had different sources of information: solution: arms- electronically provides information to insurance companies and body shops. It gave the body shops a single version of the truth. Body shops get the same information that is given to insurance companies due to this tool. Terradata aggregates the data to query: benefits: gave further reporting. Wanted decisions to be in best interest of the customers. They do not have to wait on it department for information. They were able to run own queries to get information in hours instead of in days. Self-service reporting read in text: background: company called travel and transport.
