Course topics include data warehousing; business analytics and data visualization through score cards and dashboards; data, text, and web mining; and business performance management. Emphasis will be placed on emerging efforts to use business intelligence applications in finance, accounting, human resources, sales forecasting and marketing, customer relationship management, product sales, operation and supply-chain management, and web site analysis. Isds 2001 section 1 no meeting times for any lectures. Isds 2001 section 2 9:30-10:20 am on mw in 102 allen; no class on fridays.
