Office hours: wf 10:30 - 12:00, other times by appointment. The aim of this course is to introduce you to statistical methods that will help you make better managerial decisions as well as assess decisions made by others. The goal of this course is to provide you with a good understanding of statistics so as to make you better and conscious consumers of information. Packaged with connect learnsmart and homework access code. Calculator: suggested calculator, ti-36x. (ti ba ii plus for finance majors, etc) Class notes: class notes are provided on moodle. Administered at the testing center detailed information, examples as well as participation points. Academic policies: there will be total 4 tests, each worth 25 points. The lowest of the first three test scores will be dropped from the final test score. Test scores will cover 75 percent of the final score: there will be 6 homework assignments with different weights on connect.
