Origins: it was believed that there was a land bridge that connected asia and north. America so it is believed that humans walked over to the americas. The europeans thought these continents were empty but there were about 50 million indians living in the americas when. Columbia got here, with the bulk of the population being in spanish americas. In north america there are between 5 and 7 indians in the area that will become the us. They hated other tribes and never saw themselves as friends. They never realized they were very similar until the europeans got here and they realized they were different from the europeans but similar to each other. There are at least 200 tribes in the area that becomes the us and 12 different languages: pueblo civilization: in american southwest. Built very complex housing units that they carved into caves. Complex ritual life, focused on spirituality and pleasing gods.
