Deception is defined as something that was wrongly, and intentionally, communicated from one person to another. In a relationship i had with an ex-boyfriend a few years ago, our relationship lasted about a year before he, out of the blue, broke up with me. I couldn"t understand why, and i kept trying to make attempts to mend what was broken. However, despite my frequent inquiries, he provided me with no explanation. After about a week of making an effort, i finally gave up and started to move on with my life. However, because both him and i shared mutual friends, one of his best friends later explained to me that my ex cheated on me a few days before he broke up with me. Our friend explained that my ex felt so guilty that he felt he couldn"t stay with me, but he knew that if he told me what he had done, he would only be hurting me.
