I work at an italian restaurant where we often suggest wine pairings with their food. Sometimes, customers do not take our suggestions and choose their own wine. Last week, a customer ordered a bold cab with our fish special, even after i suggested something lighter. When the dish came out, she complained that the wine left a really bad after taste. I approached my manager, john, by the bar and told him the situation. He nodded his head "yes" and said he would take care of it. I assumed he meant he was going to take it off of their bill.
