Document Summary

And what layer of human existence is emphasized? a)- assumption that all human beings are motivated part by wishes , fantasies or tacit knowledge that is outside the awareness (unconscious) We are not masters of our own houses . According to freud, one"s sexuality and sexual experience had a huge impact on the problems they faced. Over time however, freud abandoned his long held theory that all of his clients had been sexually abused as children and instead focused on the role that sexual instincts play in the developmental process. Sexual feelings are present even during early infancy and give rise to sexually related wishes and fantasies that are pushed out of the consciousness because hey were experienced as too threatening. Memory came to be of great interest to freud next. Early 1900s, freud had come to believe that all thinking and action were fuelled by a type of psychic energy that is linked in a complex way to sexuality.
