The elders of turtle island were powerful seer-naquals, shamans and magicians (men and women from 375 tribes). The elders worked together with the ark of singing skulls to see the potential and probable paths of evolution for humanity and planetary destiny. The prophecies use the metaphor of the great horse race. 8 horses of different colours representing humanity"s different choices at critical turning points in our interaction with one another, with earth and life in general.
