When a sound has one frequency= pure tone. Noise= sound with no consistent vibration pattern. Waveform= back and forth motion represented graphically. Maximum disturbance on wave- amplitude and intensity(decibel scale- loudness) describe this. Deafness= minimal hearing or complete loss of hearing.
