Document Summary

Among the three most popular religions are the monotheistic family of islam, Christianity, and judaism that all trace their lineage back to the prophet abraham and share many similarities. It is undoubtedly possible that this can occur but only from scholarly and open-minded people who are able to realize that truth is relative and a wholly-accepted view of religion will never exist. Religious leaders must proclaim that although their religion is truth, other truths exist in the world, that are synonymous at the end of the day. Followers and believers of these religious must follow through with this belief and not compare other religions to theirs in the hopes of revealing its invalidity but to nd a common language. It is important to note, especially for the monotheistic traditions, that being an omnist and a muslim, for example, is possible and are not mutually exclusive.
