Document Summary

The anatomy of the mental personality - https://www. marxists. org/ reference/subject/philosophy/works/at/freud2. htm. Large portions of the ego and super ego can remain unconscious are unconscious - individual knows nothing of their contents and it requires energy to make it conscious. Unconscious: any mental process we are obligated to assume because we infer from its effects but we are not directly aware: like a mental process in another person. Unconscious: was active at a certain time but we didn"t know about it. Most conscious presses are conscious for a short amount of time - then latent - then become conscious again. Temporarily unconscious: person recognizes it as a familiar one because you bring the intention to the speaker"s notice. Permanently unconscious: he repudiate it as a foreign to him. Super-ego goes down into the id; as the heir to the oedipus complex it has intimate connections with the id. It lies further from the perceptual system than the ego.
