There are no mistakes because things we do are so buried in our unconscious mind and we have no direct control. Freud and other psychoanalysts argued that much of what manifests as personality reflects patterns that emerge fro(cid:373) i(cid:374)di(cid:448)iduals" atte(cid:373)pts to resol(cid:448)e conflicts within themselves, conflicts that are played out through the interactions between the conscious and unconscious minds. Freud hypothesized the human psyche consisting of three basic structures. Personality is shaped by each individual three varying systems.
