Personality and behaviour are shaped by powerful forces in consciousness, a great deal of which is hidden from our awareness in the mysterious unconscious. There are no mistakes because things we do are so buried in our unconscious mind and we have no direct control. The conscious mind: is your current awareness, containing everything you are aware of right now. Relationship between conscious and the unconscious is like an iceberg (cid:862)freudia(cid:374) slips(cid:863) slip of the tongue.
