Antisocial motivation: hostility: to exclude, to denigrate, and sometimes destroy others in rivalries or war, associated emotions: contempt and hatred, emotional preference for us and hostility to them seems to be an inherited human universal. Environment of evolutionary adaptedness: a description of the environment to which human emotions became adapted as our species evolved during the six million years since the human line branched off.
