Sexuality influences a person s identity: gender identity subjective sense of being male/female. Most have sense of gender identity corresponding to anatomical sex. Gender state as male of female (personal, social, legal) Behaviours, expectations, roles, representations, and sometimes the values & beliefs that are specific to either men or women. E. g. female/male-ness: transgendered person that identifies w/ opposite sex from birth; may/may not seek surgical gender reassignment.
