Direct democracy: regime where all citizens were involved in political decision making. Parliamentary democracy: regime where political decisions are made by a representative body called parliament. Representative democracy: democracy limited to a group of elected representatives. Republican: full and final authority is placed in the hands of the elected representatives. Liberal democracy: combination of political principles of liberty and democracy. Private sphere: sphere of human thought and action that is private, enabling us to have the rights to make choices for ourselves.
