Law was to be studied for 3 years at university law schools approved by law societies. Additional 2 years of undergraduate study in another disciple. Articling would follow the successful completion of curse in law after examinations. Applicants to law school are selected on the basis of their gpa and scores on us based on lsat (law school admission test) Canada"s law schools combine the two measures in order to determine eligibility for admission. Some have suggested that these academic indices are too narrow and that students should be interviewed to determine such social attributes as their community involvement, relevant employment.
