Typically, information ows in the form of input, throughput (including processing, output and feedback). A complex of elements in interaction (von bertalanffy)- set of parts or components with relationships between the parts and between the properties of the parts. The parts or components of the system may be referred to as the elements of the system; a set of elements or units in interaction to achieve a speci c goal. A system where there is no interaction with its system environment. A system which exchanges matter or energy with the environment. It can in uence and is in uenced by its system environment. Organisms are open systems that cannot survive in the absence of exchange with their environment.
