Results of a sanctuary community include decreased staff turnover, decreased use of coercive measures, decreased critical incidents/staff injuries/client injuries, greater satisfaction for everyone, and innovative problem solving. Healthy and constant communication in order to allow for understanding, sharing in problem solving and conflict resolution, no power struggles, within assumptions about behavior, passing of information.
