Anat 315 forearm: innervation & blood supply. Median and ulnar nerves supplies/innervates nothing in the arm. Tracks down the middle of the cubital fossa, and gives off a branch early. Main nerve passes under pronator teres (anterior superficial flexor) & fdsuperficialis (anterior intermediate flexor) to pass into the hand under the flexor retinaculum. Passes around/behind the medial epicondyle (the funny bone!) Pierces fculnaris (most medial superficial flexor) at its origin, and runs deep to the muscle then it passes lateral to the pisiform to go into the hand. Ulanr nerve supplies on the medial side, anterior compartment: Fculnaris, fdprofundus (digits 4 & 5 only) After supplying brachioradialis & ecrlongus, it splits into: superficial (cutaneous) branch: runs straight down back of the hand; supplies cutaneous of back of hand, main deep (posterior interroseous): passes through supinator to get to post. Compartment, and runs down deep on the interroseous membrane; supplies extensors in posterior forearm compartment.
