Feminism gives a platform for changing life and how one understands relations with oth- ers. Women are highly misrepresented figures in society that males are conditioned to mis- treat and ignore. Our needs can exploit women in various other countries. People are full of race and gender based assumptions. Current feminist perspectives are challenging concepts of gender in fresh, new ways. Def: feminism is a social movement that seeks equality of opportunity for all people, re- gardless of gender. Addressing problems that happen every day: domestic violence, sexual assault, racism, homophobia, unequal pay, job segregation, sexual objectification, restrictions on reproductive choices, unattainable standards of gender, beauty, and behaviour. Feminism is a philosophy and a movement for ending all forms of oppression, includ- ing gender based oppression (nighat gandhi). Three core theoretical principles: gender and power. Central core of feminism is the idea that our biological sex does not determine our life goals.
