I am struggling so bad with these questions. Any help would be so appreciated. It was due yesterday but I am so lost. :(
Jose then wants to see how many high fives he can give in 30 seconds. Alan stands on the edge of this carousel and gets a timer ready.
They decide to start the timer when jose is on the opposite side of the carousel, which has a 6 ft diameter. Jose reaches Alan for the first high five at 0.8 seconds.
Jose and Alan are best friends. One day they decided to go to a playground and hang out. Jose decided to go to the spinny thing (carousel, merry-go-round, roundabout).
Jose wants to spin around, giving Alan a high five every time he makes a full circle.
1. How many high fives will alan get in 30 seconds?
2. The maximum function is
The minimum function is
The amplitude of the function is
The Midline of the function is
The Period of the function is
3. Using the information given write a Trigonometric function for the situation
below (Where x is time and f(x) represents the distance between Jose and Alan)
4. What makes trigonometric functions useful? (don't mention triangles) 5.
5. Why are trigonometric functions periodic?
